Yoshiya Tanaka, MD, PhD is Professor and Chairman of First Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine and Dean of Graduate School of Medical Science, University of Occupational and Environmental Health, Japan. He was a visiting fellow in NCI, NIH in USA in 1989-92. He authored 551 publications, impact factor=2298 in English. He is the vice-president of APLAR and JSBMR and a director board member of Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, JCR, etc. He is an editor-in-chief of MRCR, an associate editor of Rheumatology, AC&R, AR&T, etc. and an editorial board member of ARD, etc. He has been awarded from JSBMR, JCR and EULAR.
