About ARA

The Australian Rheumatology Association is the peak professional society for the Australian rheumatology community. It is a specialty society within the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, whose members are involved in treatment and research into all forms of arthritis, including autoimmune connective tissue disease, spinal and soft tissue disorders, bone disorders such as osteoporosis, and chronic musculoskeletal pain syndromes. The ARA Annual Scientific Meeting is the major Australian meeting in regards all aspects of management and research into these conditions, and brings together not only rheumatologists but also associated organisations involved in this field, along with members of Australia’s strong rheumatology scientific community.
