  • Sankalp is a Senior Research Scientist at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) Australian e-Health Research Centre. His current research is focussed on applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning techniques to model, analyse, predict, simulate and optimise Patient Flow through Australian public hospitals. He is a senior Adjunct Research Fellow at Griffith University’s Institute for Integrated and Intelligent Systems, and the Secretary of the Pacific Rim International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (PRICAI) Steering Committee. His research interests include Applied Artificial Intelligence, Prediction and Forecasting, Planning and Scheduling, Multi Agent Systems, Distributed Constraint Reasoning, and Decision Making and Learning under Uncertainty.
