Associate Professor Peter Wong is a Rheumatologist in private practice at the Mid-North Coast Arthritis Clinic, Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. Dr Wong completed a PhD in 2005 from Melbourne University at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute on the molecular biology of rheumatoid arthritis and bone disease. He holds a Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Newcastle University and is trained in musculoskeletal ultrasound. His interests are in the use of biologic therapies for the treatment of inflammatory arthritis, secondary prevention of osteoporosis and management of pulmonary arterial hypertension in the setting of connective tissue disease. He is a Conjoint Associate Professor in the University of New South Wales Rural Clinical School.
