• Lyn March

Head of Rheumatology/Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital

  • “No data, no disease!”
Lyn is the Head of Rheumatology at Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital and the Liggins Professor of Rheumatology & Musculoskeletal (MSK) Epidemiology at Sydney University. She plays a major international role in the measurement of burden of disease and patient reported outcomes. She advocates to raise the profile of MSK conditions and to improve evidence-based patient care through policy development and translational and discovery research. Her latest challenge is the establishment of The A3BC – a national collaboration linking the patient outcomes registry ARAD with a new bio-specimens network of banks to deliver precision medicine to the individual patient and to build a national research resource working to find a cure for arthritis and autoimmune rheumatic conditions.”
