  • Kim Bennell, PhD, is an academic physiotherapist, Redmond Barry Distinguished Professor, NHMRC Principal Research Fellow and Director of the Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine at the University of Melbourne. She also leads the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence: Translational Research in Musculoskeletal Pain. Kim’s research aims to improve outcomes for people with osteoarthritis focusing on the use of conservative, non-drug interventions such as education, exercise and weight loss. Current research is investigating strategies to support patient self-management and different models of service delivery including online interventions.
