  • Kathie Tymms is a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine, Australian National University and Rheumatologist (Adult and Paediatric) at Canberra Hospital. Kathie is a director of OPAL Rheumatology Ltd and is a key contributor to OPAL projects. Kathie’s special research interests are medication adherence and optimal use of biologic and conventional disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs) from both the patient and physician perspective which involves OPAL’s electronic health record linking longitudinal patient reported outcomes with clinical remission outcome measures for rheumatic conditions.
